Megan Wingrove has worked for the yard for over 3 years now and took out her amateur licence back at the start of 2020, however like many others amateurs has not had a lot of opportunity to ride due to the COVID-19 restrictions.
Megan was delighted to get back on board TAKEONEFORTHETEAM on Saturday night, as restrictions for Amateurs are now lifted, so having just her fourth ride on the track Megan was delighted to be jocked up for the race in Doncaster.
Megan has an unbelievable bond with the horse, as she cares for him at home and rides him out every single day. This showed through during the race as the horse stuck his neck out and galloped strongly to the line – making sure he helped Megan achieve her first success under rules.
A brilliant day for the yard, for the owners Steve and Anita Mares and a day that Megan will never forget!
