Roller ran a solid second last time out at Kempton Park with apprentice Joanna Mason on board, but managed to go one better and get his head in front last night, back at Kempton Park again.
Joanna rode him again and played the waiting game, tucked in on the inside rail for most of the race and made her move at the cut-away. He tried his hardest for her and was just holding on at the line.
A nice performance for the now 8 year old making it 3 wins for his current owners – Over The Moon Racing.
