Although January can be a long month that most of us want to see that back off, we had an exciting month here at the yard.
Dream Magic started the year as he finished last year, with another win under Richard Kingscote, taking his tally to 5 wins for us now.
A more memorable win for us though came when young amateur rider Megan Jordan rode her first winner under rules aboard her parents horse – Running Cloud. Megan joined our team last October with just the one ride under her belt and this was just her fourth ride in public. It was a very emotional winner for all of the family and certainly makes all the hard work worthwhile!
We sent our own son, Billy, out for his first ride in a pony race at Cocklebarrow point to point in January as well and he also went onto win – a great surprise for us all and a very proud moment for us as parents!
